Presbyterian Church (USA) offices received the okay from the General Assembly in June of 2002 to lobby for late term and "partial birth" abortions. The medical benefits plan of the PC(USA) covers late term and "partial birth" abortions. The denomination's current position favors unrestricted abortion—any abortion for any reason at any time during pregnancy. PPL is a special organization calling the Church back to her biblical roots on the issues of life and death. None of our support comes from the denominational offices.
