Wanted: Sermons on the beginning and ending of life

In 1995 PPL published a collection of ten sermons by Presbyterians on life called Fearfully and Wonderfully Made. Our purpose was to give examples of preaching on God's value for each human life and the biblical teaching which opposes the taking of innocent human life. The collection remains one of PPL's most popular resources.

We think it's time for a second volume of sermons on life. This time we want to extend the subject matter to include attention to the end of life as well. We are looking for sermons that help the church understand the issues of life within a biblical and theological context. PPL's editorial team will select sermons preached by Presbyterians for the second collection of sermons and we will plan to have them in print by early 2002.

Send the sermon(s) to PPL, P.O. Box 11130, Burke, VA 22009. Please include the preacher's name, as well as the date and place the sermon was preached.
