The PC(USA) form of government is representative. Every member has the power to effect changes, even at the highest governing level of the denomination.

Sessions have the power and responsibility to bring overtures through the presbytery to the General Assembly on matters that affect the theology, morality, and government of our church. Churches have the power and responsibility to ensure that the constitution is upheld and obeyed.

The renewal organizations of our denomination are groups of Presbyterians working in local congregations and at the General Assembly level of the denomination to bring change rooted in Scripture and our constitutional confessions.

There is only one group in the Presbyterian Church (USA) offering a witness and ministry for the protection of all innocent human beings, from conception to natural death

Presbyterians Pro-Life has a full range of resources for preaching, teaching, and pastoral care ministry, incorporating life-affirming witness and ministry naturally into the life of a congregation.
