PPL uses the services of VANCO to receive credit card and bank account electronic transfer funds. The process is secure, simple and quick. On your first visit you will be asked to enter a profile. A click on the button at left will take you to Vanco's secure page to complete the transaction. Follow the simple instructions to complete your donation.

You will be asked to indicate the amount you wish to donate and the frequency (one-time, monthly, etc.) Please confirm that you have the decimal point in the desired place. You will then be prompted to provide financial account information -- PPL will not receive this information. Please be sure to complete the sections asking for your address and phone number to help PPL keep accurate records of your donation. If you have ordered some resources and are sending a donation, please indicate that in the "Comments and Questions" section.

Following completion of the transaction, you will be returned to the PPL website.

Note: The fees assessed to PPL for receiving donations by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) are 25 cents per transaction plus a one-time authorization fee per individual of 50 cents. Fees assessed to PPL for donations by credit card are 45 cents per transaction plus 2.75% per transaction for Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club & Discover and 3.50% for American Express. You will be given an opportunity to pay this percentage fee if you choose during your transaction.

To make a stock donation

Giving securities (stocks, mutual funds, etc.) that have appreciated in value can be very helpful from a tax standpoint. If you give appreciated securities directly to PPL, you will not have to pay capital gains taxes on them – and you will still be able to deduct a charitable deduction on your income tax return. This is a wonderful way of channeling some of your resources into a work that you believe in. 

In order to make such a gift, put in writing what securities you would like to have transferred to PPL. In that letter to your own stock broker, you must include your account # and the number and name of your securities; and you must include the following information:
